A Coastal Carpet Python came in today as a rescue. The owner drove 4 hours to bring it to me It is so docile, I'm sure it will be adopted quickly.

We don't keep them. We make sure they are healthy and adopted them out to good homes. Were are a Adoption and Rescue organization. But it is nice to have these snakes for the short time that we get to enjoy them.
Very beautiful, wish I could take it in!!

Why was it given up in the first place?
Too bad you don't ship or I'd take her in a heartbeat. Coastals are my favorite carpet python.

Donations normally range from $30 to $60 depending on the cost of us getting and taking care of the snake. Unless we determine you are going to flip the snake or are not going to take proper care of it, anyone can adopt the snake. We do not ship snakes, so they must be picked up.

We don't ask, because we don't want people feeling we are judging them. We want them to do the right thing with the snake and not turn it loose or put it up on Craigs list. If they were willing to drive 4 hrs to surrender the snake. they must have cared about it. Although many people do tell us why they have to get rid of the snake, the only answer that bothers me is "I don't have time to take care of it any more".
