Hi guys,
I've been through countless care sheets, and none of them describe the proper diet... I was wondering what the food itself should be, how often to calcium dust, how often to feed... Also, please don't say "GET AN ACKIE INSTEAD" because I've done lots of research and have chosen the Timor.
Thanks guys,
Cameron

GET AN AUFFENBERGI INSTEAD. They're just like Timors, but prettier. LOL.

Food would be whole prey items every day or every other day. Mostly insects, but mice, chicks, shrimp, etc. can be fed as well. You don't need to dust.

Ok. Cool. Yea, I was also thinking about the peacock too. Are they the same thing except for the colors? Because I heard they have the same exact care. Thanks

Yes, the care is exactly the same. As far as decor, you may try adding more palm fronds if you go with a peacock. My understanding is that in the wild they have really set up shop on palm plantations and live both in the crowns of the trees and under fallen fronds on the ground.

I would disagree. If you are feeding mostly insects, you should dust and gut load them. There are ways of compensating for the nutritional deficiencies of most insects, but without careful understanding of how to do that, you would be setting yourself up for failure without dusting and gut loading.

I should add that by mostly, I mean about a 60% insect diet, with the other 40% consisting of meatier prey items.
