Hi everyone. I've never been part of an online snake community before, but I've had a passion for snakes since I was knee high to a nickel. I spent several years volunteering for various exotic pet stores back in the late 90's / early 2000's in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Working with Ben Seigel was fantastic.
I have decided that since there is so much ignorance when it comes to proper husbandry of snakes, that I would help educate the general population. My New Years' resolution was to build my first website and try to reach as many people as possible to raise awareness of these kind animals.
Basically, I'm trying to keep up to date with current snake related events/news, give helpful tips for anything from finding a lost snake, to mite control. I have a loooong way to go and a ton of articles to add to the site, but overall I just want it easy to navigate and give people easy to find information.
Yes, it's an affiliate site, but I'm broke and need to generate income to cover server costs and stuff, right? I had no idea Managed VPS costs this much!
Anyway, Looking forward to catching up with you guys and seeing what this community has to offer.:blink:
