When i first saw this little guy for sale, i was blown away.. Completely smitten! I was not planning to buy any snakes until i finished building my vivs, but i just fell in love. He has the WOW-factor for me.. After looking at his pic 1000 times, i just made an offer with what i think i could spare! They accepted it! - Must be destiny :D

Now he's here, my Super Hypo Boa Constrictor Imperator 'Nicaragua' bred by Vin Russo. 4 years old and about 3 feet long, attitude of a 20 foot long retic. Desperately tries to kill me, it's hilarious! Tries to go for my eyes, but he can't even reach over an arms length to get there :p

Sadly he had been fed a day prior to me collecting him, only snapped 2 really quick pics when placing him in the quarantine tub. So i wouldn't bother him too much, luckily he survived the long trip without giving back his meal. And it won't have to bother him for a while now, since he won't be hungry any time soon. I will take better pictures when he is settled in here.

Just look at that face!

As you can see, a very full belly. You can't really see it on this pic, but his flanks have a lot of pink on them just like his head!

He already cr*pped all over the place yesterday night, his tail started wagging the moment i entered the room. He remains silent, no hissing.. Just a lot of biting! In case anyone is wondering that is not pine or cedar, but some left over birch shavings. I normally use coco husk but for quarantine this will do fine, nice to burrow and still easy to spot mites.

Just look at how he lies there.. waiting for me to open up the lid.

He reminds me of a Nic female i once rescued from a bad home (notice the scar on her back), she never liked me much.. (I've only met 1 nice Nicaragua in my life :p)
