Really bummed

Hey guys, as some of you may know, I was in the process of getting a cb baby black tree monitor. The dealer told me I could place a deposit, but they wanted to make sure he was doing well before sending him out.

Today I found out that he did not make it. I was very much looking forward to getting this little guy; they are quite hard to come by, especially from reliable sources.

Very bummed; especially feel bad for the animal.

I wouldn't say it's usual. However they are easily stressed and sensitive animals. He was captive hatched in Indonesia so that's still quite a journey and you often hear about them coming in dehydrated. Looks very healthy in the photo though.
