This is bowser, my 2nd sully, my first one was sick when i purchased, then i got this little guy. hes by far my favorite reptile i have, and really made me want to get more sullys, or torts in general.... however, no room for 2 of these guys as adults... lol.
i provide very basic care, because i keep reading different topics and different do's and dont's ...
hes kept in a old melamine tank i had for a snake, with some modifiers. offered greens every other day, and veggies... fruits once or 2 times a week. soaked 3 times a week and in the summer hes out side almost all day, brought in during the night...
any tips/info, please feel free to throw them in here.

They can get up to 150 pounds. But most I've seen on YouTube and suck are around 90~120 ish.

I have one that is about 6 months old. Check out this site...Tortoise Forum - An Online Community of Tortoise Experts - Tortoise Care, Tortoise Photos, Reptile Classifieds (http://www.tortoiseforum.org)
It is by far the best site for tortoise keeping, go under the species type for Sulcata and you will find tons of info and care threads. Pay attention to the husbandry for juvies, humidity is VERY important!

I get on that site too, just not as much as here. I spray his tank daily with warm water and it stays pretty humid, in working on a new tub fire him though
And thanks!! He is my baby

Thank you everyone. I want to build a nice out door enclose for the summer, we might be moving to a bigger house/yard and i would like to build something with an outside house for winters (heated and insulated if i can) but for now he does good in his enclosure.

90 to 120 pounds should like a pain to get in and out of a tank everyday lol, the things we do for our animals

Cool tortoise!
Awesome tort. :) I love the name. ;)
Gorgeous, gorgeous baby! That's so great that you're using the hot & humid method. That is one stunningly smooth shell.
If I may--IMHO, feeding every other day is not enough for a growing Sulcata.. If I understood that correctly. Friendly suggestion, bump it up to every day feeding. :) You're building a 150 lb bulldozer--he needs all the healthy calories he can get!

Thanks for your input, and i have started to feed every day, just greens and what not, fruits for occasional treats, and veggies.
his shell is awesome, hope i can keep it that way. :)
