Does anyone have an Argentine (Boa constrictor occidentalis?)

If so, would love to see pics and hear about how they are to keep!

Well, I don't have them right now but I have a pair of neos arriving in the mail tomorrow!! Courtesy of Manny Frade of Perfect Predators.
The youtube user 1softkiss has a couple big ones, you could check that out for some good insight.

This is a picture of the 2 coming to me. Keep a look out for more pictures!

I have a pair.Awesome snakes..little nippy at first, but have calmed down nicely.I found they are a little like true red tails when it comes to large meals..they regurge too large of a meal sometimes...my male was way worst than female though..

I would be very interested in seeing if they look anything like the picture. He has a reputation for misrepresentation....

Yeah I like the look of them. Really unique snakes. Never seen one in person. Would love to own one eventually. Maybe when I'm rich with my own house.

I have a female that's about 4 years old and about 6.5 ft now. This pic is from about a year ago. I'd take a new pic but she just ate the other day.

She is beautiful! I would love to see an updated picture. Once she's digested that meal of course. :)

I'm really starting to dig these. My initial reaction to these throughout the years was that they lacked color and we're boring. But now I'm realizing I was sooooooooooooo wrong and theyre gorgeous! Their pattern is just stunning. Like weathered stone at the mayan ruins. Beautiful.

What's really cool is how they get darker with age. First time I saw a picture of one it was a adult. Almost completely black with white speckles it was just stunning. I been in love with them ever since.

I really like your Male. The black is just awesome. Were they the same color as juveniles, or was the female always more brown?

Actually the female is darker than she looks in the pictures. But the way the sun was hitting her it gave her a more chocolate brown color. Has far has color change she has gotten darker over the last year. Where he stayed about the same. Has far as their color as juveniles they were both over 1.5 year old when i got them so not real sure what they looked liked as babies.

Female! Her head is a lot lighter than the male.

The two together. Females the smaller one.

Here's some current pics of Evita in an Iris VE-175 tub (temporary quarters while I'm working on some new caging).

Yeah, they're great for quarantine for sure. They're almost as big as a 4x2x1 PVC cage.
