Man, those are some amazing photos. What camera/lens did you use to take those?

Thanks! I have an old Canon Rebel XS.. These were with the stock 18-55mm lens.

Thank you! Yup, it's a single person hammock style chair! I started him off on one of the hanging plants and he was content enough.. but once I put him on the hammock he didn't want to leave lol

wow how did you get that close with the stock 18-55? I'd probably need to be twice as far away with the stock that came with my nikon.

Manual focus! The autofocus freaks out that close.. But you can auto focus your way into it, if you move the camera a little closer or a little farther away.

My manual focus dial only goes so far haha. That's what I meant. Whether it's auto or manual the focus won't go any further after a certain point(I think about a foot away) from the subject.

Interesting! I've found that if I zoom in all the way, it won't focus as closely as on 52/53. I've also found that there is a point a certain distance away where it can focus, then closer it cannot focus.. But then even closer, it can focus again. I dunno.. Maybe Canon has something over Nikon in their stock lenses! LOL

Awesome shots!
I have a Canon Rebel T3i and it's awesome for taking close ups just with the 18-55mm lens. ;)
I love that camera.
