How much do 10g lids usually go for? I have heard from $3-$4, to $20... how much usually? Or how can I make my own?

bought locking screen lids for about $20, thats new at a pet store. You can usually buy them off people for about $5 used

They are expensive at the pet store...like $20. The bigger ones get expensive too...almost as much as the tanks themselves. You could make on prety cheap. You just need some wood to make a frame and some hardware cloth (mesh). The trick is to make some way for it to lock down. Just putting something heavy on top will not be good enough to keep in a determined snake.
