help me out
sorry no one with more experience has posted... i'm only a few months into this, but i've read a lot about bps' prolonged fasts... a weight loss is a big concern, so someone with more knowledge will have to advise you... you're doing the right thing asking for help... hopefully somebody will be able to give you better information... hang in there.... bps can go a long time without feeding... especially during this season...

A Bp can go way more than 5 months. Corey woods snake went 56 weeks without eating If I can remember correctly. That is a year and four weeks. So 1 year and 1 month. But losing weight is a concern. I would look into force feeding. Probably your only option right now if he is losing weight. I am not a pro but I know if nothing else works then force feeding does the trick. You can also try putting egg yoke or chicken broth on the mouse before you feed it. I heard it helps alot.
thanks for listening

No, it's not a lot. I have one here that has not eaten since Sep 29th and has lost more then that and is fine. Provided that this is an established animal and paracite free I would not worry.
Cheers,
