I know you are being facetious, but seriously...that is beyond the reflex speed of any human. Gaboons and puffs strike that fast, you just hope that they miss. Because the strike is over and they are back into position to strike again before you know the first one happened.

In all seriousness though, I could evade the strike of any viper anyday. I move as fast as lightning.
That's about 18 1/2 MPH. I was curious and did the math. :)

For comparison, North America's Eastern Diamondback is about 9 feet per second. I don't care how good your ninja skills are, if you are within range...you are toast.

they do strike very fast....saw one on one of Austin Stevens programs a few years back i had to double check if that was true!!

i heard that Mikoh is that fast.....
at night when going to bed,when he flicks the lightswitch off as he walks in his bedroom door...
he's in bed sleeping before the room is dark ;)
