Well it took a while to find one, but... I finally got my male pure jampea dwarf retic. He's around 5 feet long, silver eyed just like my female, and beautiful. I'm super excited about this project. Ive expressed before my concern about people only doin mainland crosses for morphs, and losing the pure genetics of various locales. now i get to do my part in preserving these wonderful animals. Can't wait.
I had been calling Bob Clark for a few months for updates on if he'd have a clutch of jamps this year. Found out the female wasn't going this year. I happen to ask about the male she was paired with; only to find out that he no longer has a pure jamp male. I don't know of anyone producing pure jamps anymore.
I snapped a quick(pretty bad) pic of him before putting him in his huge Xmas tub.
Congratulations on you new snake and for keeping "new snake Tuesday" alive :)

Thanks everyone how your kind words. I'm glad someone caught the reference to "new snake Tuesday".
Yes, he will be paired with my female jamp next year; hopefully ill get some eggs as I've been told that pure jamps are a one of the hardest retics to breed. The previous owner told me he's slowed in growth already at a little over 5 feet. And with my female being about 3 years old now and only a little over 8 feet, these should produce some jamps that stay small(we've all heard the 16 foot jamp horror stories).
More pics to come. For now he's settling in. Ill also post some pics of my female, and kalatoas(I've been really slacking on getting some pics up).
Can't wait for more pics :)

Last I talked to him he hasn't been producing them. I don't know if he just hasn't been breeding pures or if he's gotten out of them, but he's got an adult female for sale for i think it was $1000. Thanks, I'm really excited about this one.

I will be keeping atleast one male and a few females for my collection. And the rest will be sold/ traded to people I feel are responsible/experienced enough to keep them.
If you're interested let me know, funny enough I've already got some people that want baby jamps and kalatoas; Even after I told them I'm at minimum 3-4 years out for a clutch of kalatoas, and hopefully 1 year out for jamps. I'm not even the one counting my chickens before they are laid. Lol.

Travis has some pure Jampea stuff that he's working with for Aneries trying to nail down that mystery but he didn't have any plans for pure Jampea babies last I spoke to him. Should have mentioned you were looking I could have told you several people with pure Jampea hatchling or eggs incubating right now.
