Taiwan beauty!

Got in a female CBB Taiwan beauty ratsnake last night from a friend. Not to sure if I'm gonna keep her do to limitid space. I have always wanted a beauty rat but was not planning on having one any time soon do to their large size (for a rat snake). I really do wish to keep her so we'll see what I can come up with as far as an enclosure go's. Gonna look into stacking large and heavy enclosures.

She had an almost perfect shed today.

Made room for another cage. Now I just gotta get the cage (have some time) so I may keep her.

She took 2 F/T pinkies with zero problems and ate them pretty fast lol.

Ok my phone is being stupid so these are the only ones I have already uploaded. These were taken about six months ago when he was about 5 months old.

Beautiful! How big was he in those pics and how big is he now?

He was about three foot in these pics, and he's about 4 foot now. He hasn't been a real fast grower the way other rats have been for me in the past, but honestly he's my first beauty snake so Idk if that's normal or not. I've heard some blue beauty owners say they hit six foot by year one. But that's another snake altogether. Either way, very active, very inquisitive, great eater, and in my opinion one of the most attractive Snakes out there.

This girl is amazing. She is very alert. Keeps an eye on me at all times.

How often do you guys feed your beauties? I've had her for about a week and fed her 4 pinkies (2 each feeding). She digest her meals extremely fast.

Sorry for no updated pics. My phone is freezing up every time I open my gallery. I feed mine every 5-7 days. I find that they are incredible eaters. They can also choke down surprisingly large meals so don't worry about going up a size. Mine was on full grown mice since it was about three feet long. How does she feed? Is she Aggressive? Mine won't strike. I have to set it down by his hide and he comes out to eat once he's ready.

Shes an amazing feeder. She does strike from the tongs. Gave her a fuzzy today which is a little bigger then the size of her body and she got it down very dast. Think I'll set a schedule for every 5 days.

No doubt! Mines an eating machine. Poison, again, that's a great looking Taiwan. Very yellow already. Mines just now starting to yellow up. Doubt it will ever look as nice as yours. Great catch!

and I can't find one. While yours is indeed extremely beautiful, I'm really hoping I can find one like the one I used to have, he didn't have any yellow, instead it was a really rich olive green.

Poison..... I think I found one!!!!! I find out for sure tomorrow morning. There's a college about an hour from here that has an awesome herp lab. It's been years but I've seen the adult Taiwan beauties they have and they are gorgeous. I just heard that they have a 2013 available. They open 10am tomorrow morning, so I will be calling them then and if its still available I'll be making an appointment to go look at it :]

It's probably the same people who sell them at the Cleveland expo. I forget what college it's a part of but they have a Breeding program. I got mine through them.

She was hatched July 29,2013, she's not in blue yet ,but she is definitely close. Her belly is cloudy and her eyes are JUST barely starting to cloud.
