I have a handful I picked out, so I'll just choose my favorites. These are fairly old (from 2012 and over the summer), so a lot has changed in how I feed them. The photos of Bud are not in a separate enclosure, they were in his resident tub. I removed the bedding because he was eating live at that time and I was just being a worry-wort about him getting mouthfuls of EcoEarth every time he missed (which wasn't often but still). He now eats f/t and I no longer remove his bedding. Cloud also used to be fed in a separate enclosure, but I eventually decided (with some prompting from members as well) doing so was inane and began feeding him in his enclosure.

Earlier this year, I was accidentally getting too large of rats for Cloud. He had outgrown mediums, but larges were still too big for him. This caused him to start refusing food and spacing out feedings more. After about 4 feedings I realized my mistake and started giving him a medium and a small each feeding until he became big enough to take them, which was maybe a month later.

My girl used to always eat her rats from tail to head ;P one of the last times I tried feeding, she refused but curled around it and slept with her head on it like a cuddle buddy. :P

I love seeing the last bit of tail go down. It reminds me of the spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp. I've never managed to get a pic though.

I know this response it late, but I've been busy lately. Thank you everyone for Sharon your pictures. Starbucks, her meals for the past couple weeks has been a fuzzy and a large mouse since I don't have access to the proper rat sizes ATM. And poision123, not at all!

I was feeding my 2012 CA in a separate box and when I put him in the box he immdiately climbed up to the edge of it. THEN he smelled the rat. Turned around went into the box and snatched and coiled 3 times! All the while still hanging from the side of the box! He was holding it and himself up off the ground. I had to carefully move him into the box afterwards.

SO WISH I HAD A PICTURE OF IT!

You should feed him in his enclosure. It's less stressful than feeding in a separate tub or container.
