First Shed! :D

well, Persephone had her 1st shed with me, wasn't expecting a good shed because of the scale rot...the combo of the betadine baths and ointment appeared to be loosening belly scales that I had seen floating in the water and on my hands and clothing while handling...BUT...she had an absolutely clean amazing shed, scale rot is GONE! and she is more beautiful than I have ever seen her look! I know there was some debate going on from my first cell pics on the validity of her being a pastel, but I hope these pics clear that up :D

thanks Aaron...I know cell phones can't take the best pics, and I had seen her there before in all her "glory colors" so I knew what she was...she apparently had a worse shed than I thought, the belly scales that were coming off of her the last 2 weeks must have all been leftovers from last time because this shed came off completely clean :) we were shocked to see that her patterns were visible in the shed itself...never experienced that with any of our other snakes..so it was kind of cool! :D

Thanks Kera! She is so sweet..she stays in a ball when anyone but me picks her up...with me she is very outgoing...she is my girl. ..lol
