2 milks and 2 kings!

I started with corn snakes in 2012 (my first snakes), but 2013 was the year of Lampropeltis (apparently). I got a (2012) Pueblan milk snake in April, a (2012) striped Cal king in July, a (2013) banded Cal king in September, and finally what I have been wanting for quite some time, a (2013) black milk snake on Christmas Eve. I really like how my Cal kings behave, seeming more inquisitive than my corn snakes (except one, my favorite SMR Okeetee). One is a unpredictable musk-flinging little brat, the other is very calm. My Pueblan used to be a musk-flinging pro but I think he's getting better. The black milk snake is very calm and chill. He's been here for a week and a day, and just took his 2nd meal with me.

In order, this is Sherlock the striped Cal king, Milkshake the Pueblan milk snake, Elliot the banded Cal king, and Loki the black milk snake.

Wow awesome snakes! Myself and 2 other forum members here have male black milk babies from the same clutch! Darth my Black Milk is the most laid back, docile snake i've ever kept. Eating machine lol! I'm glad we have another black milk to enjoy! Like DC said, everyone needs a MBK to add to their collection!:)

She isn't afraid of them at least not deathly. She has this idea all my snakes are going to turn against me get out in the same night and kill everyone -_- so right now I'm limited to 2 or 3. I honestly think 2 more and a BTS and I'll be alllll good to go.

I feel your pain kwhit. It took me a few months to soften up my girlfriend. I had 2 snakes but want at least 4. Just got number three today! I had to lay it on pretty thick though. A few more date nights, some "just because" flowers, and a gift card to go shopping was all it took. I love it when a good plan comes together :D.

Nice theory Mikoh. Unfortunately I haven't met many sweet, smart, sexy, snake-loving females in my area ;) . Rather than starting a new search I'll just keep working on the one I have. She's slowly coming around. She really liked the bull snake I got today so there's hope for her yet :)
