May I introduce myself :
Borned in Amsterdam, studied Biology , Medical Entomolgy and Beekeeping.
Having snakes for more than 60 years by now. When I was 6, I found a Anguis fragilis (Slow worm), did not know this was a Lizard without limbs. Thinking it was a snake and I was comletely fascinated.
How could this creature move without limbs..
When I was 8 years old, I caught my first snake a viper and poisonous, but what did I know about snakes. My uncle recognized the danger and we brought him back to his place and he bought me a pair of gartner snakes, but I had to promise him never again catch a snake in the wild anymore.
So it began, now, more than 60 years later, I still have gartnersnakes and a bunch of other species. Passion for snakes will never left!
