incubator temps

hey i have a 10 gallon with 3 and a half inces of water in it with a water heater (50 watt) and have it set on 88. but i have a digital thermometer in the egg box and it only reads 79-80 how can i boost the temps up anymore? i tried the max temp for the water heater (90) but it only goes up to 80, how can i get it to rise, and wut should the humidity be at?

Do you have a way to seal the aquarium?

Maybe get a second water heater. Or instead of a glass aquarium, try an insulated cooler (like the type to take to the beach or tailgating)

you can also try using a styrofoam cooler....those insulate very well, thats what i use.....i had the same problem as you.
