i was just wondering how often you guys feed your snakes?
i have a chart that goes by weight, and it says to feed mine every 4 days.
i feel like its too often, but theyve shown no signs of stress or sickness.
Turbo's about 9 grams, and turbine's about 14.

Depends on the species of snake.Don't own a rat snake, but most baby colubrids are 5-7 days. I would go with 5 personally for a rat snake.

I go by the size of the prey item with adjustments according to the species, Most species I have get bumped back to every other week when their prey size reaches Medium. With my Carpets, this happens at Large. My Macklot's will always be weekly since they never will get anything bigger than a Large. My Burms will get bumped back to every other week when their prey size reaches a 8 lb. rabbit. Everyone else, when they start eating Medium rats.

For my baby Corns I hatched out last year, they've been and continue to be fed weekly.

I'm glad you brought that up. My adult Corns are also fed weekly and will continue to be fed weekly the rest of their lives. For them, prey size does not matter since they never will take anything bigger than a Small rat.

I think most young colubrids do fine with being fed every 5-7 days. My young rat snake digests very fast so I might try feeding a large pinky every 4 days, rather than every 5. I don't it hurts to experiment with different feedings. In the wild a snake may not eat for a week or 10 days. However, it's probably unhealthy to feed more often than every 4 days. They likely won't have a chance to properly digest their last meal. If your snake out grows one type of prey, but isn't yet ready to move up in size, you can try doubling up the smaller prey items. If you do this though, it's advisable to feed less often, so the snake doesn't become stressed.

I feed my colubrids once a week. Even when small.

Personally I would be cautious feeding adult corns once a week.

I fed my corns weekly for first year and then two-three weekly thereafter. Each feed is a prey roughly twice thier girth
