She's such a funny eater! I just fed her, She took it... But didn't "Strike" so I pulled the tail a little and that helped, The when she had it she couldn't find the head and bit herself! Very different than my BP

I don't know, was sold to me as Thayeri at the Repticon show, but looks like a grey banded as well- with some additional black.

I had heard of Thayeri (variable) kingsnakes, before I bought him, so I don't think they are that uncommon, but there are indeed many different patterns for these kingsnakes.

I like that hide revent. Zippy and Hannibal Caesar could be twins :) . I'll get some pics soon too. The snakes have got the blues right now. I'm really surprised Caesar looks like hes ready to shed. He's only eaten once in 3 months. Sasha Fierce has been eating very well so she's due for a shed. Haven't seen either of them roaming their vivs in a few days. I need another snake.

Thanks! Last weigh in she was 35 grams and I'm going to guess close to 2 feet. She went off food for a while, if she would keep a good feeding scheadule she would probably be bigger! Love her still the same!

Ammit was hiding a lot the past month but started coming out again. Also, a while ago, one of her sheds was done without turning blue! Really weird. And my dad's ball python shed and he hasn't eaten in a couple months either. Idk what's up lol

I was cleaning and revamping little Layla's enclosure today, I decided to add about another inch of damp substrate that I made a while ago with the eco earth brick and laid that all over. I also saw inferalnis post an idea about making a natural burrow by burring (seems wrong but oh well) one of their hides and leaving a small hole for them to crawl into, well i left her alone while I cleaned her water bowl, well she was surely checking everything out! Here are some picks before she caught onto what I was doing and booked it lol.

My little Thayeri kingsnake Thor has shed twice since I got him in September and he's about 15" long now! His two sheds have been perfect. He's up from one to two pinky's a week and I am going to the Repticon show in March to lay in a supply of some larger pinky/fuzzy frozen mice!

Thor's eating habits are interesting. He will often grab the pinky and run around the terrarium with it. If he grabs the pinky on the backside he will let go and then grab it again by the head and then swallow it. I saw Thor do this today. He had swallowed the head of the pinky and then carried it over to a hiding place to continue the rest of the eating process in private.

This was the second rat I've ever given to her. I asked the pet store to give me something a bit bigger than an adult mouse and that's what they gave me, along with a huge jumbo mouse lol this was the biggest mouse I've ever seen haha

I got her at Repticon two weeks ago and I am are guessing she's about 2 1/2 to 3 years old. The Breeder did tell me but I don't remember her exact age, I'm old and easily confused. LOL
