Hey, everyone. My tan BCI went blue somewhere around the 2nd to the 4th, she changed back two or three nights ago, has not shed yet and now I am seeing these patches that look like stuck skin, but it isn't and it looks like it's parts of her skin that are ready to be shed sooner than others. Humidity is around 70%. This first started to show up yesterday so I decided to wait and see if he/she decided to shed overnight, but the patches only got larger and she had more of them.

Can anyone tell me what causes this/what's going on and what I should do about it, if I even can do anything?

Here is what it looks like. Patches on saddles 7-8 are the worst, there is a fold in the shed.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice I can be given:)

Just let it be. It should shed fine.

seems to me the skin may be loosening? my CRB did this when she shed....(hers wasnt a good shed, but we were rehabilitating her at the time from being severely dehydrated)...

Give it a warm bath.

Thanks Korbin- I figured all is well, I just wanted to make sure as its his/her first shed with me, and I wanted to make sure this wasn't a result of humidity being too high or not high enough. Thanks for the reassurance:)

Give it a warm bath.
I'm kind of hesitant to soak because she is a rather shy boa and somewhat new so I want to keep interaction minimal right now, especally while shedding.. But if the problem progresses then I will look into a nice warm soak for her.:)
