I agree with this. She'd still be huge without the extra lbs.

I love the hundred cigarette burns in the carpet. Big fat green annie. I would hate to pay to feed that monster.

My guess is it recently ate. Anacondas tend to have small heads compare to their body girth. If you feed a food item as big as the fattest part of a anaconda it stretches the neck quite a bit. Looks like a double chin. Mine will take a couple days some time to shrink back to normal after a feeding.

Did not know that, thanks.

But even keeping in mind that anacondas do get girthy, would you call that a healthy weight?

Something just seems off comparing it's body shape to other anacondas.

I think it's just because it a older out of shape anaconda. At that size if you don't have something big enough for them to swim around in they won't get much exercise. Because their bodies are so heavy gravity make it hard for them to move around a lot. That's why you usually see the true big ones in the water some much to relive the pressure on the bodies. Something that size would need a pool. I really love to see what kind of cage they keep it in.

Ah makes sense. One of the reasons I couldn't keep a giant. Wouldn't be able to provide the space needed for exercise.
