Wow. How big are these?
Not measured them for 3 months but their only slightly bigger since then.
They were last measured at 17ft 3 inches for the normal het albino and 19ft 4 inches for the Platinum.

Holly Crap ! That is all !
They were last weighed 3 months ago when measured and they've eaten a hell of a lot since then lol.
But 3 months ago they were weighed at 152lbs for the normal and 167lbs for the platinum. I would estimate the normal is now around 160lbs ish and the platinum is just over 180lbs as she's eating a lot more than the normal at the moment

Gourgous snakes man, I want a platty so bad. Have you sign the petition to stop the government from adding retics to the Lacey act? We've got less then a month to get 99,200 signatures.

May I ask how many of you it took to get them outside? lol
Lol.
Just 2 of us.
Too be honest it's normally just me and a friend that handle them. Their heavy and a sometimes difficult to get out of their vivs but fairly easyto be honest lol.

are they obese? They don't look like the retics I usually see( lean and muscular)

I think it's a female thing, especially if they breed, I've never seen an obese male. I'm just guessing though.

Gorgeous girls!:D really like their pattern, and i would love to see how you keep them!
However i do have to agree with Mikoh, they look.. slightly overfed. They look plump in stead of muscular, and it makes their head/body proportion look off. Can i ask how often you feed them? And i might of missed it but how old are these pretty ladies? Everyone has their own way of doing things, and your feeding schedule obviously difference a lot from my own, thats why i'm curious :p
Hi,
Their both just genetically big to be honest but they aren't underfed either.
The Normal Het Albino is currently on one giant rabbit every 3 weeks and the larger Platinum retic was fed purely on Guinea Pigs before she ended up in my ownership. She takes multiple guinea pigs whenever she fancies feeding which is usually every 2-4 weeks. There's no real set feeding routine plus the Platty stops feeding for a month out of every 3 due to a slow shedding cycle. This small prey size has resulted in the plattys head being quite narrow as she's never consumed and won't consume large prey items. Unlike the Het albino she will take the biggest of rabbits no problem and has a shorter but wider head.
Both snakes have recently eaten in the pictures but they had to be dragged out their enclosures due to them requiring being cleaned out.
I'll try and find some other photos that show their true digested girth.
Here's a couple
One of my friend handling the Normal Het Albino and family and friends handling the Platty.

wow beautiful!! Their build looks a little better in these pics, very nice animals! I can only hope my tiger will grow to this length. (Personally though i think once every 3 weeks is way too much, my adults ate once every 3 months. However i don't know how old these are, and i'm not judging everyone has their own way)

Apart from feeding time their both pretty laid back. Though they sometimes can still throw a strop lol.

Frequency of feeding doesn't really matter as much as the weighs of the feeding. 1 kilo rabbit every week or a 12 kilo pig every 3 months is the same in weight.
How old are your girls lemon?
Their both 7 years old.
Which is another important factor as their both still putting their feeding into growth.
They also get handled every 7-10 days (depending on feeding and shedding) so use the energy they get fed.
I know of a keeper that only feeds every 2 months but the he cleans around the animal and it never leaves the enclosure.
I would rather feed more and exercise to put the calories to good use plus its much more stimulating for a snake to be dragged out now and then lol.

Beautiful snakes. Do they have climbing space in the cage? And to think I thought my dwarves can be a handful at times.
