Tonight was feeding night and I had two small rats for my female woma. The feeding started off with her taking about six wild strikes at absolutely nothing. I hadn't even opened the cage yet and she was just lunging everywhere. So I eased open the dooor and dropped in the first rat to which she reponded by smashing into the glas and missing the rat. Well she is agitated and kind cruising but ignoring that rat so I slid the door open to the other side and toss the rat in which she picks out of the air and coils. I decided to get the other rat and drop it by here head so she can find it and that's when I got really freaked out. As I was lifting the rat out she slammed the back half of her body against it and started grinding it against the ventilation grate. This rat had a smal tear in yhe skin by the arm pit from a broken leg. By the time dhe was ready to eat it she had ground it almost half way through..

Hahaha I was expecting a photo thread of a wild woma. My pit is wild as well when it comes to food. After I toss the rat in she rattles her tail and hisses at the rat and the tail keeps going until I leave the room and the rat is eaten.

ive read that Woma's and Black Headed Pythons, will go down rodent burrows and do just as you described Kevin.....
they crush their prey using their body and the side of the burrow
its pretty cool you got to see it at your house mate

I have some pics I'll post later today.
In other news I am seriously kissed. I have my male woman in a tote which I keep inside the females Vic as I was too lazy yo finish his viv. Well the tote has a large hole in the lid which I cover with ceramic water bowls . Well I finished hos viv but broke the plexiglass divider so I put him back in the tote. I totally forgot to weigh the dishes and now im not sure which is mal and which is female.
