The pattern on the head is really neat.
Somewhere between star and stick figure. Interesting. Congrats.
Ahhh these guys are so cool. I've always wanted one of these guys, congrats on the pickup! I look forward to more pics of this guy ;)

Thanks
That's what attracted me to him was the pattern on the back of his head
His head pattern reminds me of an ink blot test, like Rorschach.

I have always owned Corns and I'm new to Pythons and their behavior.
"Diablo" hides under the several piles of Spag Moss that I have placed in his enclosure and never comes out day or night. When I bring him out he seems to be very happy and active, I place him back in and I never see him.
Is this normal behavior for a Spotted Python?

For an adjusting python yes... any python in a new environment would do this....
For a "settled" python... depends on the time of the year and age of the python. Most likely an environmental issue due to temps and ectothermic body temperature regulation.

I so excited, like a kid in a candy store I say LOL. Diablo came out tonight and explored every single nook cranny, hide and vine , high and low ! For three hours he explored, why so exciting?
Because since I bought him he had just hid under the Sphag Moss in one corner and never came out. I even got to see him drink and play in the water.....I have pictures and ill post a couple tomorrow.
Tomorrow is our first feeding day, I hope it goes well.

Yeh....and thanks AND one of the best things I got was one of those silly Frog Mushrooms, ya know the ones Petco sells, Diablo loves it ! He hangs on it all day long.

Feeding day for Diablo, he seemed very agitated that I brought him out, he is not usually this way, he could be getting ready to go blue I guess , however he does not show signs of it. I fed him a Reg Fuzzy and he's eating so that's good. <thumbs up>
