Well after 5 weeks of not eating anything I offered him a live fuzzy mouse (hes more of a hopper size snake) and he took it like he was waiting for it. Hopefully he will go back to frozen now.

Congrats revent. My Cal King hasn't eaten in almost 8 weeks now. I'm gonna try a live hopper with him this weekend.

My Cali King went around a month and a half without eating. He is big enough to be eating young rats and was eating fine on those for quite some time then all of a sudden he refused to eat them. After quite a few weeks of not eating I stuck an adult mouse in instead and he started eating again.. now that is all he wants. I just feed him two of those and he's good. Seems like Kings are picky eaters.

Well he wouldn't eat again last week sadly but he took another live one again today, hopefully I can get him back on frozen again soon I don't really like feeding live.

Afternoon guys. :)

I wouldn't worry too much about your snakes not eating this time of year. It is brumation season. I have one king that only eats about every 3 or 4 weeks, the other still eats like a pig.

Just keep offering food every 7-10. They will start back on proper feeding in time. :)
