Nice Gecko DC. Zadna is so cute! My son's favorite color is yellow. Last night I asked him if he wanted a yellow lizard. He says, "no thanks dad, I like snakes." Mind you we were originally going to the pet store for a blue lizard when we saw the snakes next to them and got our first Cal King, Hannibal Caesar. I may have strongly influenced that decision. I'm not too sure about getting a yellow snake but I do like those high yellow carpets.

She's about 10" maybe a little less or a little more. My mom hated snakes. I had to start off with a turtle, and I slowly made my way to snakes:)

Well that's not bulldog like at all ;) Bulldogs are big lazy couch potatoes.

My mom's Bulldog is a big idiot lol He thinks he's a lap dog and snores REALLY loud. He just kind of lounges around the house. They are a very docile breed. He gets playful when he's outside and running around (doesn't last long though lol). When I lived at home and used to walk him he would get lazy half way through our walk and lay down in the middle of the sidewalk and refuse to get up. I've had to carry him home before and he's like 55-60lbs.

Haha I don't think I will ever get a dog:/ just don't like the smell. My family has had a few dogs, just never got used to it. I like cats better...but reptiles even more :p

Zadna is a real beauty DC. How large of an enclosure do you keep her in and how expensive are nice leopard geckos? You're tempting me. I could always say it's for my son. The lady of the manor can never say no to him :)

You can keep them in a ten gallon, but I put Zadna in a 20, more space and it was an open tank lol she seems to like it a lot better than the 10. You can get a normal for about 10-40$ depending on where you go. You can also go for the more expensive color morphs if you want. If you are lucky, you can find a cool morph at a pet store for pretty cheap. I found a blizzard going for 35$ once lol I do recommend one, they are just awesome to keep and really awesome personalities too!

Dont keep geckos myself but i know that the carpet is a breeding ground for bacteria, what is your routine for cleaning it?

She craps in a special area so I put paper towel down(folded up) and replace once a week, then about once a month I will take it out and throw it in the washer and let it set out to dry.

i used repti-carpet for my corns and garter for over a year, cleaned weekly (i had a spare for each tank) soaked in very light bleach solution, hand scrubbed, then washed in washing machine for exchange the next week...but I really liked the "spot" clean method much better when I tried other substrates...will probably never use the repti-carpets again...big hassle compared to alternatives...

Leo's tend to have a certain spot to do their "business" so it's easy for me because I just lay down paper towel in that spot and change it weekly. But I don't I would ever use it for my snakes, they'd make a mess of it and love to burrow lol
