I have a savannah monitor that is about 8 months old. About 2 months ago I fed him 2 mice at once by accident. Then he made some weird hissing noises (they don't sound like the hissing I've heard on videos), but after a day or two they stopped. About a week ago he started making those noises again. Should i take him to a vet?

May we see a photograph of the enclosure?
The 2 mice at once by accident part confuses me, at 8 months old, it should be eating 2-4 mice a day.
what are the following temperatures.,
basking spot? temp gun used?
cool end of cage & humidity reading of cool end.
How deep is your soil? what is the temperature of the soil?
thanks.

what does the noise sound like? when did he do it, what was going on around him at the time, and what was he doing at the time? ''making a weird noise'' isnt much to go on, even with all the cage and temp specs etc
my Sav hisses when he's startled or feels threatened, he's got two types of hiss, a fast quick one (usually followed by a tail whip) and a deep longer one, where he lifts himself up, puffs up his throat and abdomen to try and make him self look extra scarey, and lets out a constant low hiss for several seconds

The photograph will be below in a separate comment
Sorry for not being clear, I meant he actually swallowed to mice at the same time. Ever since then he's been making those weird noises.
The basking spot is about 150Fº and I used a temp gun for all the temp.
The cool end is about 72Fº and the humidity is about 83%.
The soil is about 2 feet deep and the temp of the soil is about 75Fº.
Thanks so much!!!

He makes the weird noises whenever i feed him. The noise doesn't sound like the hisses I've heard on youtube and when he makes it his body doesn't puff up or tail whip. He just opens his mouth a little. It kind of sounds like heavy breathing. And he only makes the noise for a second.

Hi, can you make a short video (with sound) of him making the noise, and how big in relation to the monitor`s head and neck were the two mice he swallowed together?
I do not recommend feeding 4 (adult) mice daily, a diet of 50% invert to 50% vertebrate should keep the monitor in good health (providing obviously the other parameters are in place)!
The enclosure looks very bare inside, you need to provide the animal with the means of using all the available space above ground with firmly fixed and very stout branches/logs, etc. I also think it will help if you can get some leaves/bark/similar to place over the soil to keep it from drying out too quickly.
