I plan to get python curtus next spring. I know they need a high humidity between 80 and 90%. But how can i make sure to hold humidity in that level during the day? I will control the temperature with a thermostate. I know there are also hygrostates who can check and hold humidity in the right levels. But how can i make that possible? There are two options. A fogger and a raining system. But i heared foggers can cause respiratory problems and i fear a rain system could flood the setup?

You can get a fogger

Since building my enclosures with Expanded PVC this year, I would suggest a plastic enclosure, I spray my Colombian Rainbow's enclosure once a week, at most (infact its been 2 weeks since its last spray, currently reading 85%). despite not spraying very often, the humidity has not dropped below 80% at any point.
The enclosure is also planted with live ferns and moss, which does help keep humidity levels up; but even so, plastic enclosures are excellent for high humidity species, with little need for foggers and rain systems :)

Good day mate.
Depends on the size of the python.
With any of my snakes that require high humidity I simply house them in a Sterilite tube.
I use Cyprus mulch with a UTH. As the UTH emits heat for the tube it also evaporates the moisture in the mulch providing humidity for the tube. By putting more air holes in the SIDES (Do not put hole in the top) of the tube will control the amount of humidity in the tube.
After a couple weeks of the mulch drying I simply mist the mulch to re-add mositure or replace it if it needs cleaning.
Hope this helps. :)

They will be one year old when i get them and go in a plastic terrarium. But no box.
You think i can keep it above 80% that way?

No problem, I have Brazilian Rainbow Boas and I have them at 90%+.
