Ok, if this turns into a slight rant I apologize. But I just need to get this off. So I ended having to make a mice run today for my 2 snakes (no store where I live has rat pups so both get mice) Usually this isnt a big deal but after this experience, I am only buying online from here on out. So I go in today, I usually go in and see what new snakes they get due to the fact where I live, the petsmart and pet supplies plus get the normal snakes, (BP, corns and kings) these guys typically get the Boids and big Pythons and then go get my stuff and get out. So today. I go in..I dont agree with how they have any of these snakes set up. The python cage, has no joke about 8 snakes in it, from balls to burmese, there is 1 community water dish thats rather small, no hides, no humidity. Its a good ol screen top that is fresh out in the open. 3 of the snakes have tattered skins from shedding and their answer to this is, "They will soak in the bowl if it gets to dry." Seriously?

After I was done about that, I told them I needed 3 fuzzies and 3 hoppers. She goes, we dont have any hoppers. So I told her jsut get the smallest mice you have then. Ok, usually this place is good about it, today I received a big pinky, 2 fuzzies, 1 small mouse, 2 HUGE mice, I just looked at her and went really? Thats all they had. So I just took the 1 small and 2 fuzzies. $9.16 later, official buying from online stores now. If anyone has a good recommended f/t website, let me know please. :)

Ok, now while I was staring at these pythons, I kept watching them. They were constantly going to the top of the cage, falling down, rinse and repeat, They have done this numerous times everytime I have gone in. Now this I think burmese, Also had a swollen eyes, I just wanted to show this video to see what you guys think. I am not a python owner, but from what I have read, pythons are for the most part, very chill snakes and dont move much during they day. But this behavior struck me as odd.

Sad but all too common! I use rodent pro for my feeders.

Multiple snakes in one enclosure with poor conditions=they're trying to find a way out.

I found Layne Labs had the cheapest rates for F/T to my area.

That's sad but unfortunately pretty typical of lots of pet stores.

I use Rodent Pro or Layne Labs too. Either is fine but the quality of the mice is usually a bit better at Layne.

I like rodent pro as well. Often if you go to shows you can meet rodent breeders and hook up with them directly for your needs.

I use Layne Labs for my f/t feeders. Very pleased with their prices and products.
