Sorry it took so long, I needed the fiancee's help to get the shots and he's been super busy lately.

Anyway these are pictures of my BCI for Mikoh to see what they look like on my feeding schedule. Both these boys are 2 and 1/2 years old and were fed weekly meals a little bigger then their roundest part until they were switched onto mediums and now they are fed biweekly.

Anomander is my sonaran cross het leopard het anery so he is a bit smaller but still hitting 5ish feet.

Its hard to get pictures of muscle definition when they are squirmy and shiny, if you want better pictures let me know and i'll see what I can do :D

Wow! sonoran male(even for a cross) that big at 2.5 years old? I thought they were supposed to be dwarves! Then your "common" bci and the supposed dwarf species are almost the same size on the same feeding schedule?

But they look very lean and square shaped.

I'll do an experiment with feeding my boas(cay caulkers and sonorans) bi weekly starting now(they are all yearlings) and report back once they are 2.5 years old. See if there is any difference.

Those are some great healthy looking boas! Glad to see ppl who don't feed'em like Burms or Beepers :)

Thank you Darryl, Kid Boa and ThinkBig317 :D

Mikoh, Anomander might be a bit smaller but roughly 5ish feet, he is my squirmiest snake, does NOT sit still so its extremely hard to get any sort of measure or gauge of his length but comparing him to Andarist I can guess around 5 feet.

I went back and looked for lineage for you Mikoh and found Anomander's papers, he is a 50% Columbian 50% Sonaran desert cross. He still goes through night and day colors, here he is in his dirty phase as I call it, come night time and he still lightens up, not as bright as he used to but still a very light grey color.

Yeah those are one of the enjoyable things to see in boas. Just checked my boas and they are in their dark phase as well. Just yesterday they were very creamy and pale.

I guess the colombian size is having it's effect on his growth. I'm thinking my sonorans will be that big in 3 or 4 years.

Have you tried using the snake measuring tool online? You basically get an object, measure it's length and take a picture next to your snake. I've never used it but have heard good reviews.

Yeah I'm excited to see where he'll top out at. I don't like that tool, I find it doesn't work very well for me, I used to use it until I noticed it was giving me wonky results.
