I'm a bit confused on this one. What comes from a super hypo x normal pairing? Is the super hypo the same for all subspecies?(co-dom, recessive...etc)

Hypo is recesive in the ball world, not sure there is a super hypo but as its a recesive trait both parents would need to carry it for the offspring to be visual regaurdless, if the second were normal,( not het) the offspring wouild just be 100% het ( if there were a super form)~ I think.
Im still studying all the genetics so Im sure you will have far more experienced members chime in and with other species all this may be moot :P

With boas you will get all hypos.

Aren't hypos visual hets in that a "super" hypo is an animal with both alleles for the recessive gene, and regular hypos are heterozygous animals that just show the recessive gene they carry?

With Boas, Hypo is a Co-Dominant gene. Breeding a Super Hypo to a normal will produce all Hypos.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)
