Very nice corns - the candy cane is very extreme - you should get nice babies from that one.

Are you breeding the frosted creamsicles? I wasn't sure if you kept any intergrades - these are very pretty though.

mary,

I did have a couple of creams before....but I have sold all but this last pair of hybrids.....so other than this pair of frosted creamsicles (which I think are stunning) I have already sold all intergrades......cause I don't really like the idea of having hybrids...but as you know...these are beauties.....I don't have anything about hybrids.....just that I want to keep things as pure as possible. But with these frosted creamsicles....I just love them so much.....so didn't want to give them up. I know that I am contradicting myself here.....and what's even worse.....I am thinking of breeding my Upper Keys (Rosy Rats) to my Snow corn.....which I want to see what the results are....but the thing is that, that would mean I am making hybrids again....which really sucks....cause I am not too into that and I am making these things.....kind of confusing......I know......I don't even know what I am doing.....lol

Anyone have any comments on me? Please let me know...lol

Nice pics, Simon. May I inquire as to what pic host you're using?
I use a webtv system, and printroom.com was the only one that I could find which was compatible.

Thanks,
Simon

Great looking corns Simon. I know the delima about breeding two ssp together, you want to make pretty snakes but you don't like the stigma attatched to X breeding. one thing you have to ask yourself, do the natural habitats overlap? if so, then odds are there's already lots of natural intergrades in the wild. and if you sell off the off spring as long as you don't falsely sell them as something different then they are, I don't think there's a problem. One thing I do have an issue with is the way corn crosses get named XXX corn. ie. creamsicles and jungle corns. they're not corns anymore, they're inbetween, the creamsicles should be called rat snakes not corns, but I don't think it would be easy to change the industry wide practice of calling them corns.
