I am new on here. I have a Californian 50/50 King Snake named Panda. He is currently sick with something (I have no clue what, which is why I joined here so I could ask you guys for help).

Dude that's when you take him to the vet. It's not a computer with a virus that you can take your time with. Your snake needs medical attention.

To mistersprinkles, if I could afford a $200 dollar exotic vet bill right now I could. But I don't have any money right now - so I can't take him to a vet. I was hoping that someone could help me find a way to help him, because many people live through the same things with their animals and know what to do, I steadying of spending a fortune at a vet where they could possibly tell you nothing. I had a phone consultation with a vet yesterday, and I barely even had enough money for that. Panda recently started going sort of flat (the only thing I can think to compare it to is a hose, when the hose is a circle that's normal, but when it kinda folds and goes flat is what he's doing) and with the flatness as well as that mark, the vet told me he might have internal parasites. He said there wasn't much I could do for that, so I really hope it's not that. I've only had him for a week and a half, I got him from a pet store (and I know that's not the eat place to buy snakes, but I couldn't find a king snake anywhere else) which means he had them before I bought him. To everyone else - thank you so much. I got the betadine and I am trying that, hopefully it will help him atleast not be in so much pain.
