Have all their snakes- ALL OF THEM- go in shed at the same time. Now I am bored cause I cant pester any >:I I have never seen this, is it the change of the season, luck or what. All different species save for two that are the same species. And of course my freaky boa has shed 2 times this month and last month shed 3

I may have 4 or five of my snakes go into shed during a two week period, but I have never had all 30 + go at the same time...

Define going into shed, like all are actually shedding or just in shed. I've had both mine in shed but they haven't shed on the same day

I had 4 carpets (mating pair and 2 offspring) all shed on the same day.

My columbian rainbow boas usually go into shed within 2-5 days of each other, last shed they shed on the same day but the two sheds before that were 6 and 8 days apart. I only have 2 snakes so thats all the input I can offer lol

That doesn't sound normal to me. I think something is irritating the skin on this snake causing it to shed more often than normal. You should take it to a qualified vet for testing.

I have 6 snakes (5 are colubrids) and 4 of them shed over 2 days, and the 5th was two days after that!! I think it may be a seasonal thing as florida is offering them a more 'natural' drop in daylight and temperature than our previous home in NY. They are also all approaching adult size/breeding age as well.

I have twice and the vet only came back with "well nothin in the blood and nothin I can see physically wrong with him". Each freaky shed cycle he burst in growth.

Happy to hear you took him to the vet to check it out. I guess if the vet says there's nothing wrong, there's nothing wrong :). I just thought it sounded odd.

yea the first time it happened i asked the forum here, and vet was suggested, when jerry did it 2 times in a row i ended up seeing the vet twice as well to see of there may be a toxin or something on his skin or in his blood, test came back negative and all i got was "well hes just a freak of nature i suppose". Hes my little freaky weaky frankenstein

Almost every single snake I've raised went through a period of when they would shed every 2 weeks. But this is when they were pretty young.

my 2 corns and my albino checkerboard almost always shed within 24 to 48 hours of each other...once in a while one will shed unexpectedly and throw it off for a few months, but then they end up on course again...i wonder if my new boa will follow suit ;)
