Hello :)
I took my 3 babies to a pet store that sells reptiles and had the lady there determine the sex of my snakes 1 male 2 females :)
But one of them has red spots on its scales almost like its a bruise they arent mites Im pretty sure cause I cant rub them off and they dont move. I noticed it when I got her monday and just thought maybe it was just the way she is but the lady at the pet store doesnt think its normal. Has anyone else seen this before?(Please say yes, please say yes)

No idea, sorry:(
It's a tick if it's small
does it look like a dome
if so pull it off with hemostats
good luck
3 things come to mind when you mention (red) discoloured scales -scale rot, a bruise, or in less common cases, it can be the result of a systemic infection. If your snake seems otherwise healthy, the I would just apply a little bit of polysporin to the affected area, 1-2 daily, and if it is not gone with the next shed, then you may need to seek out vetrinary advice. Good luck :)

I have an adult ball that had red spots appear in its mouth very recently. A herpatologist looked at it and sai it need some treatment or it would spread to the underside of the body. Ever since she has been giving it a lot of medecine but it does not look too good. She told me what it was but I just can remember anything she said. Anyway you could check the mouth and see if it is there. The funny thing was that make snake even until just a few days ago acted just normal even though the herp lady said it was very sick. Well I got a phone call yesterday from her and she said that the snake was not doing well at all. I actully poasted about this earlier with almost the same question but nobody else knew. I dont think it would hurt to get it checked out. I was told if my snake had been looked at earlier it would have had a way better chance of surviving, but let us all hope it does not have this.
