Next we have Miss Piggy and Kermit who were the very first snakes I ever had. Still have them btw. Then there's Gandalf the Grey staring at me. :) If ever there was such a thing as an Anery Dum, he would fit that bill.

Of course, we can't forget my Scrub, Pindari and this is today's pic after I cleaned his cage.

Next is Stheno, my Bloodred Stripe, followed by Hellboy, my Bloodred Motley, then Khorne my Bloodred and then finally Frost, my Anery. The last pic was the lock that produced a clutch of eggs that hatched into babies, 4 of which I kept.

These 4 are the babies that came from that clutch. Well, they're yearlings now anyway. Anastasia and Dimitri are the Aneries, het Amel, Bloodred and Motley and the other pair is Ariel and Eric, Normal, het Amel, Bloodred, Motley and 66% ph Anery. I would say F2 breeding is in the works ;)

Great collection I love the Scrub Python!! I'm sure you've been asked a million times, but since I just got back.. what all do you know about GI Jane? I'm sure you've picked up a ton of info on her since I left, I'd love to know more myself. Obviously you have breeding plans with her, I can't wait to see what comes of them. Best of luck!

Thank you. I do know she was not always this way but transformed into it. Her appearance continues to change, even since I got her last year in May. She was more yellow then as opposed to now. Now her olive green pixels are becoming more prominent. Some people even mentioned a possible Calico gene similar to what Nerd has been working with. I need to contact them and see what they think.

The other thing that is noteworthy about her is that she is 9' long now. When you consider she was only 6 1/2' long 17 months ago, it really makes me wonder.

That'a so cool, I especially love snakes that grow into their nice colours, rather then dull out as adults. Really nice that she's on the large end of the scale too, makes me even more envious lol.

I didn;t realize NERD was working with Mack's, or any Liasis really. I'll have to look more into it, perhaps do some diggin' myself... always want to know more about the 'other" snakes...

Actually the Calico gene they are working with is in Retics. No, I haven't anything about them working with Macks either.

Gary thanks so much for making this thread. It's so cool to get to see all your different snakes in one thread. As you know i love how diverse you collection is. This is one thread i 'll have to watch for up dates.

I love the anerie cornsyeah those Anery babies were a surprise. Apparently both Schatzi, my Amel (R.I.P.) and Hellboy were het for Anery, which I didn't know about but even then, the most I should've ever gotten was 25% but instead, half that clutch were Aneries.

Thank you. I took a pic early this morning before work of Medusa with her rabbit bulge. She's satisfied. ;) I'll upload it tonight when I get home.

Thank you. Dums were where I first got started keeping snakes. They are mellow, easy to handle, have no special humidity requirements, get to a decent size without being too big and have a very pretty pattern on them. They were a bit hard to come by at the local shows because we kept snatching them up. ;) Yeah I branched out from there but I never forgot where I started and I would recommend Dums as excellent beginner's snakes to almost anyone. :)
