Hey, everyone! Let's dedicate this thread to pictures of your new additions. I.E; My BCI I'm getting next Wednesday. If you get a new snake or other reptile, post pictures here! Excited to see the pictures posted here :)

Well, I got an albino checkered garter last Wednesday. I guess I could post some of him. :) Most of these I've already posted, but it would be cool to see people's newcomers in one thread.
Here he is the day I got him, taken straight out of his deli cup.

awesome, albino garters look so alien. No new snakes for me! atleast not for another few months to a year.

Their back halves are kinda weird to me, too. It just becomes so thin. lol I'm use to the thick, meatiness of my ball and boa. It's almost like a thread spooling out of them, haha.

You know what?? I've actually been wanting a San Diego Watersnake for awhile now... There's four snakes and 1.0 Veiled Chameleon on my future wishlist!

I wish I could get a new snake but it'll be another 6-12 months before I can add any more animals to my collection. Congrats to all those with new additions. Lookin good :)
That albino checkered garter is so cool looking! And Sophia, that watersnake is sweet, love the look in Babu's eyes :)
I guess this is the newest addition, was about a month ago now but still a new addition!
Just a regular Western Hognose, one of the best decisions I ever made! She's only 14 grams and I decided to name her Betty.

I love that water snake's poses. She almost looks like she's saying "Come at me bro." lol
My little guy is starting to perk up, and he seems to be slowly getting used to me. If he sees me, when he's being brave, he follows me up and down his tank. XD I turned off the light tonight, and a little later I shone my cell phone in his tank to see what he was doing. He had gone into hiding, but as soon as he saw the cell phone's light, he came right up to it, all excited. He's pretty silly. :D

Garters certainly have cute little curious personalities. It's one of the best parts about owning them :) I may look into more in the future.

So Cupcake arrived today and great news! the name fits!! I have no idea why she's considered aggressive by them... Her owner went to pick her up, and wouldn't even put her hand in the tub lol I just reached in and grabbed her and she was fine with it. She was a bit jumpy for the first few minutes I held her, but then she started to calm down and was actually very curious and friendly. Her eyes are white and her skin is very very saggy so I raised the humidity substantially and left her alone. She has.a blanket over her enclosure so she isn't subjected to any extra stress from seeing people and my dogs. Here's a picture from when I first brought her home!
Puppy likes the new snakey :) He is scared of all my other snakes, but actually seems to like Cupcake.
