hi guys..so i have a question...i have a 6 month old citrus bearded dragon. we have had him/her for almost a month and i think he/she is just shedding but want to be sure. mostly in the morning its like his eyes and mouth are stuck or crusted shut. there isnt really any noticeable crust. but ill pick him/her up and before his/her eyes where always open when picking up. i put him/her in a warm bath and drip water on his/her head and its like what ever it is softens up and he/she opens mouth and drinks and eyes finally open. just dont want to ignore it if there is a problem....also was watching him/her the other day and was buldging eyes out of his head i got worried and jumped right on the net and found out they do this when young and shedding to lossen the old skin...WORRIED DADDY!!!

That doesn't sound like shedding, it sounds like some kind of discharge from your dragons eyes and nose etc. Can you please tell us more about your setup (temps humidity substrate etc) and what you feed him? Posting oictures of the gunk would helpnimmensely.

so just thought of something and had read it some where on line his basking lamp sits close to the screen top and recently i put a new log in his tank and it put him up to where he is very close to the lid....and had been sitting up there often is it possible he burnt his eyes??? last day or so he has been chillin down on the floor of the tank so maybe he realized it to?? i moved the log out of the the basking end tonight..maybe just leave the red heat bulb on for heat for a few days to give his eyes a break??? he is eating fine and looks great otherwise as far as like he doesnt look sick or not losing weight ...got a few pics just have to figure out how to get them uploaded
