Would it be considered running a business at home if I only breed a pair of snakes a year and sell the babies online on classifieds such as king and fauna?

I wouldn't claim it myself unless I was looking for a tax write off.

I think you have to make over a certain amount of $ for it to be considered a business in the US but, state to state laws are different and you may want to look into it.

Ditto. IMHO, its not much different than if you were selling off an old couch or used baby clothes. It does not make you a furniture store or a clothing outlet.

If you are making that certain amount each month [different for each state], then you may consider it. But I wouldn't sweat it.

If you were making a decent bit, and started vending at shows, etc., it may be advantageous as you could write off expenses [vendor fees, gas, any herp supplies, etc].
