Lost Western Hognose advice?

This week has been a rough one, as I ran into some unfortunate news on Monday evening. While I was at work, a family member had let out one of my parrots in my room and didn't lock him back up. After everyone left, the parrot apparently flew a circle and hit my small terrarium that was on the dresser.

The small terrarium had my baby hognose in it, that I've had for over a year. I've never had any of my animals escape like this, but the baby hognose was out of sight before my sister could get him.

I understand snakes will literally cram themselves in the weirdest places, but is there any chance I will find him again?

Best wishes in your search SS. I once had a ball python that escaped for 3 months before he reappeared so don't give up hope.

My boyfriends baby BRB was lost for about 3-4 weeks. all she was was hungry when we found her. She was hiding in the guest bedroom bed. so look in bed, behind TVs, in blanks, in a closet, everywhere you could fit a little hognose. Good luck.

Oh man, hoggies are definitely smaller and more difficult. Best to check out small/tight spaces. If it's a bit colder where you are a heat source from your home would be a place you should check regularly. Make sure you leave a dish of water out so they can hydrate, and maybe put some flour around the bowl on the floor to see if the little one has ventured to it or not. Evidence helps with hope! :)

I've had a corn escape and found her a month later in one of my plants....book shelves are a common spot too. Close off any cracks under doors and anything else, and try to make the room escape proof! Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice, I've just been kinda depressed I lost my favorite snake. It's been almost a week now and we've torn apart most of the close rooms with no luck. The only thing I do now is leave out his water dish because I can't think of any water source he could get to.

My Blue Tongue skink escaped and was wedge in between my mattress and wall... Hope the Hognose snake is found!
