I picked up this guy this weekend! He is named Manson after Charles Manson :) He was pretty mad in the deli when I picked him up, but I guess the 5 hour drive home settled him. He let me take him out and set him up in his bin.

I can't wait for him to grow up and hope I don't loose too much blood :) lol!

Love the snake; and I think Manson is a perfect name for a Blood :)
Susan!! I am glad to see you here. Whats up? I have been keeping tabs on some of my friends from "other forums" and could not help but notice how much you have diversified your collection. Good stuff.

I pop in here and there :) I noticed a lot more blood python owners here :) We went to the city last weekend for Dr appointments and I ended up bringing back 9 snakes. Only 4 for me though(3bp's for a friend and a king and milk for another). This guy, a beauty snake, sand boa and a spider ball python.
I figured since most of what I have read about bloods is they bite first and ask questions later. That a notorious serial killer's name would be a good fit! I already have a cornsnake named Dexter. I was expecting to get tagged a few times by him. So far so good. He is captive bred so that helps :)

Cute little guy. Bloods tend to get a bad rap when in truth they are awesome animals to own and work with. Some do tend to live up to the bad rap but not as many as you would think. They just take a little extra work. Can't wait to see update picture of this guy.
Nice looking blood, you're gonna love having him!

He hissed when I took him out and was a bit jumpy at first when I touched him. I'll have to spend some time with him to get him use to being handled :) My Mojave bp was an evil biting/striking machine when I got her and she is now ok with being handled.
Beautiful! The name is perfect, oh my gosh.

Good looking snake! He should settle down a bit, but some stay jumpy.
