Picked up a Grey Banded King recently. Read that they can be picky eaters as babies. The store I bought him from stated that he was eating F/T pinks. But did not have a record of it which was prolly my first mistake. Set his tank up and waited 4 days. Attempted to give him some food and seemed to defensive strike a couple times. So removed prey item and covered his tank up. Planning on waiting a week or so and trying it again. Curious if anybody has any tips that I can try next time. Thanks for looking.

You could try covering his tank and leaving the prey item in overnight. You can also try braining or scenting the mouse.

I was going to try leaving it over night next. Figure when he gets hungry he should eat something.

Well tried to feed him again. With a live pink and another with braining with no success. So I guess it's time to attemp scenting with a lizard. Called the breeder and was absalutley no help. Now I guess it's time to buy a lizard. Before I do tho I'm curious if anybody has any frozen already that I could get a couple. Tiny lizards are not really my thing. But if I have to get one then I am not opposed to it. All help and ideas are greatly appreciated.
