Meet Zippy. He is my Cali king snake I acquired him last march, he just finished shedding a few hours ago I thought I would snap a few photos with my phone. I think he's a little upset we stopped to take pictures before feeding him. He usually eats two rat pinkies every 6 days or so. Sorry for the lowsy lighting the last pic was with flash buy its kinda glarey too.

LOL, Medusa did the same thing! She shed last week. Growing fast!

Its 36x18x18. My king and my jcp both shed last night. My king shed slightly less then a month ago too he's growing fast!

Cool! I don't think a 36x18x18 is going to be large enough for my female mbk . lol

Yeah zippy is only about 2 feet long now and prolly not quit as round as a Nickol I doubt he will ever out grow this enclosure, I do however challenge him to try. On another note my girlfriend has a corn snake that is a little over 5 feet long in the same size enclosure and he seems to be happy in it as well.

Yeah I have my corn in a 40gl and he's about 4.5 feet and it will be ok for him from now on. Your cali may surprise you lol. They grow so fast!

I like DC's idea of adding a second level! More floor space and a place to climb.:)
