I got my first retic from Bob Clark less then a year ago, a female pure jampea dwarf. I've since sold off a lot of balls to get more into the smaller locals of retics. But I've been having a lot of difficulty find anyone that breeds PURE locals. I'm looking for jampea, kayaudi, kalatoa, honey island, etc. I'm not looking for mainland crosses, no morphs for me until I've got my pure bloodlines. I know Travis kubes is working with kalatoas, not sure if he's got pure yet gotta call. But who else? Is there really only a handful of people working with pure locals? All help is greatly appreciated.

The false hope of seeing a reply. It really amazes me that there arnt a ton of people trying to preserve these genetics of all the retic genes.

Or for all the other species for that matter.

Yeah I agree. That's why I don't own any morphs of any kind. I'd actually be somewhat interested in a pure dwarf retic locale myself, so hopefully someone can answer the question.

Have you talked to Bob. I see you mentioned you got your retic from him. He is probably the leading expert with the most connections.

Last I heard from Bob he didnt have any pure Super dwarfs. I was hoping to get my male jampea from someone else to throw in a little genetic diversity, but if It comes down to it he's my best bet. I talked to Travis Kubes yesterday he's got a few left from this year. From the sounds of things he plans on continuing to produce pure SD, but he said he has about 5 females he devotes to pure genetics breeding. I'm not sure if that's 5 female of one local or overall. But it doesn't seem anyone else is breeding pure. Travis said he didn't know of anyone that had produced pure jampeas this year.

rocknhorse76, if I can find a good male jamp by this time next year I will be breeding pure jampeas. I plan on getting multiple locals of SD(starting with kalatoas), and I don't plan on mixing with mainlands.
