Hi all,
Looking for some guidance on lighting needs for an upcoming BRB. Do I need day-night lighting? I will have a closed top to maintain humidity so the lighting will not upset the humidity.
What about lighting to accent the great colors of a BRB honestly just to show it off. Anyone using LED lighting?
Thanks!

Yes leds could work also a uv light they do not need it but would show the colours very well just get the weekest uv strip light u can find and c if u could put it on a timer to simulate proper day and night times. Also uv light wont create heat just what u wanted only a thaught all the best.

rainbow boa's colors change between day and night, at night their iridescence is most impressive, I use 6400K LED lights, and I dont shine it directly, its filtered thru various objects to give a dabbled effect in the eneclosure (think moonlight thru the trees), i find that this helps bring out the rainbow much better - its good to have a day/night cycle, even with my curtains closed my room is bright during the day, so i dont personally find i need to do anything to improve the day/night distinction
