I just realized, where do you live in Canada? I thought smooth green snakes, five lined skinks and grey tree frogs were all native to Ontario.

Did you know in Ontario it's illegal to own anything native?

Only if they are threatened or indangered. I pick up road kill snakes for the m.n.r. They come here to pick them up. They said it is ok to have they just do not sell them.

According to this site all three of your animals are specially protected.
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, c. 41 (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/statutes/english/elaws_statutes_97f41_e.htm#BK138)
You should read the conservation act.
I'm not trying to be an *** but so everyone can see that this isn't a great idea. I also don't believe in removing animals from the wild.

I have 4 snakes in the freezer. When the guy from the m.n.r. picks them up i will ask him. Last time he came he brought a student to show her all my animals.

Stop asking these guys. It's in black and white.
I honestly don't care if they use your animals as a zoo. Doesn't make it legal.
Read the conservation act.
You can have ONE animal for personal education aslong as it's not on the species at risk list (the skink is) and not on the endangered list.
So pick the grey tree frog or the smooth green snake.
