So I'm from the Netherlands. We hardly have any snakes here, most people never see one in their live.
Last year we went to America for 5 weeks of training and I decided to catch a snake if I see one. I did but I still don't know what kind of snake it was so maybe someone here can help me out. I caught it in Fort Hood, Texas.
On the second picture I probably had my hand too far back so it could still bite me, but it didn't so I didn't find out if it was poisonous.

You will need to post some pictures if you want somebody to identify it for you ;)

new members with a post count less than 5 cannot attach pictures. It's out of my hands, The software counts the posts.

Do they have those in Texas?

I thought maybe a Texas brown but the picture is so grainy I don't know.

I'm looking at this through a phone so it's hard to tell maybe a coachwhip?

it would seem consistent w a coachwhip or racer perhaps?
