Hi everyone! Thought I would share our newest pickup that we got at the bcrc this past weekend.

She came from a YB x Normal pairing....just wondering what you guys think.

She is a 2012, weighing 300 grams.

Comparison to a normal:
Her: highly reduced dark pattern, lighter body, lighter scales outlining her markings.

Oliver (Normal het pied): semi-reduced pattern, warm colouration, lots of blushing. (he is 1,200 grams)

She's really pretty. I like the stripe on her tail... also I like your choice of background, is it (human) bedding?

Awe thank you very much! I know I like her little stripe on her tail as well :) Haha, yes 'human' bedding..aka my sheets. :p

Thats definately a ball python :P haha (never understood what made a yellow belly really)

Haha well, it is definitely a ball python! A YB is a base morph and it usually has more flaming on the sides as well as a more yellow hue on the belly. When you compare a normal to a yellow belly it can be quite obvious but there are a few exceptions that end up having to be proven out.

Not saying she is a yellow belly :p but it must have caused something to make her so reduced?
