Picked both of these up from Kara at the Blood Cell, introducing TBC Ebony (female with light head) and TBC Obsidian (male). Photos do not do them justice, sorry bad lighting. Always happy with what I get from Kara. Just superb, well cared for hatchlings. Both are a bit over 100 grams. I hope in the future to breed them. Just settled them in the other day. Cannot wait for these to begin to grow!

Cool!

I have purchased a blood from them but it's too hot here in TX to ship. Can't wait for cooler weather.

Those sumatrans look fantastic!

Stunning pair. I love how dark the males head is. Is it just me or does it seem like females usually have lighter heads?

Thanks, it will be well worth the wait! It got into the 80s here in Arkansas and provided a shipping window.

I agree, he will be a stud.

I like the male too but I wanted some variety as well. The parents of the female are very dark, you can barely see the pattern.

Thanks Chuck, I do not think the lighter color has anything to do with the animal's sex. I am excited to see how their color changes as they get older.

Thanks for all the nice comments. They fed on rat pups for me last sunday and last night I took them out for thier first handling session and all went wonderfully. Both appear so far to have excellent temperaments.

That's cool. Any more you rarely hear of aggressive Blacks. Mine hiss but have never even attempted to strike.

I hope they remain that way. I have had good luck with my Bloods and STP, but my adult Borneo male is a bit uptight and unpredictable. He has never savaged me, but always keeps me on my toes. Probably one of my more interesting snakes just because of his personality. His posturing is hilarious!
